Mae Sai is the furthest northern Amphur of Thailand, which is connected with Tar Kee Leck of Burma. The Sai River is there separating the borders, with the bridge over it, people can commute between the two countries, with the immigration point on each sides. Many travelers come to Mae Sai and Tha Chi Leck to buy the local products and others, such as Jade, silverware, and gems.
